The California Supreme Court lashed out at former prosecutor John "Jack" Quatman last week, saying he doesn't have a good reputation for honesty and integrity and that he had an ax to grind in claiming his old bosses routinely excluded Jews from death penalty juries. The court's unanimous decision was yet another blemish for Quatman and an outright loss for Fred Freeman, a death row inmate who argued that prosecutorial bias against certain jurors denied him a fair trial.
