Q. How can we get our lawyers to embrace our new practice management system?

Set up a test system in a conference room. Require each staff member to spend at least a half hour a day “playing” with the new software before the rollout. Each staff member should have at least five sessions. Assign someone to answer questions. This helps to avoid the roll-out jitters — that “I won’t know what to do or will look foolish to my peers.” Patience and support lead to a successful roll-out.
