In recent years, certain standards of professional dress and decorum have fallen. Young female lawyers today often show up at the office dressed in what appear to be sexy pajamas, and lawyers of both genders have forgotten what it's like to carry on an actual conversation, unaided by BlackBerrys. In this humorous commentary, Molly Peckman laments the passing of face-to-face chat and office wear that doesn't scream, "Look at my breasts now!"

There are two things on my mind this month — e-mails and camisoles. Some months, I struggle with what to write that will catch your attention. This month, I couldn’t decide between the two topics, so I am writing about both and hoping at least one will grab you.
First, let me warn you that I feel a little curmudgeonly. I feel a little … aged. That’s where the e-mails and camisoles come in.
