When FBI supervisors in Miami met recently with new interim U.S. Attorney Alex Acosta, they wondered what the top enforcement concern for Acosta and Attorney General Alberto Gonzales would be. The agents were stunned to learn that a priority was obscenity, specifically pornographic material featuring consenting adults. That goal has angered law enforcement officials, as well as prosecutors in Acosta's own office, who say there are far more vital issues in regions at risk for terrorism and money laundering.
