A former Connecticut state trooper fatally shot his estranged wife, wounded her lawyer and then shot himself outside a courthouse where they were due for a divorce hearing Wednesday, police said. Attorney Julie Porzio was listed in serious but stable condition Wednesday evening. Retired trooper Michael Bochicchio Jr. died Wednesday night at Hartford Hospital, a hospital spokeswoman said. The courthouse was put on "partial lockdown" immediately after the shooting but later resumed normal operations.
