When Ricci-Leopold moved into its new offices in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., partner Theodore J. Leopold realized that with swankiness came noise issues: Sound bounced off the paneled walls and marble floors, causing distractions and possibly even jeopardizing client confidentiality. So Ricci-Leopold became one of the first law firms in the area to have Muzak install a white-noise system. "It sounds like air conditioning," said partner Leopold. "It's not intrusive, but it's effective."
