Cisco Systems Inc. hired San Francisco’s Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison L.L.P. to handle its $6.1 billion proposed purchase of Acton, Mass.-based ArrowPoint Communications Inc. ArrowPoint has hired Boston’s Hale and Dorr L.L.P.
The Brobeck attorneys representing San Jose, Calif.’s Cisco are partners Therese A. Mrozek, in Palo Alto, Calif., and Eric Simonson, in New York; and associates Richard Kim, Ingrid K. Tung and Victoria Tidwell, in Palo Alto, and Justina N. Thomas, in New York. Cisco’s in-house attorneys are Daniel Scheinman, senior vice president for legal and government affairs, and Van Dang, associate general counsel.
