The man credited with helping to turn around Norwegian Cruise Line and transform it into the world’s fourth largest cruise company says he’s owed more than $2 million, after the company ousted him from his job as president and chief executive.

Geir Aune filed suit in Miami-Dade Circuit Court on April 18, claiming that Miami-based Norwegian breached its contract by failing to pay him his severance package. Aune could not be reached for comment.
