A Belton, South Carolina, woman has sued Krispy Kreme, saying that she was severely burned by a hot doughnut. Olene Burton, 66, said that she was burned on her left wrist and arm when a Krispy Kreme employee dropped doughnuts and coffee onto her. Ms. Burton is seeking an unspecified amount in damages.
