Four out of five applicants who sat for the Illinois bar exam in July will get good news this week. Exam results were sent on Monday, and bar officials are reporting a 79 percent passage rate. Illinois Bar passage rates have remained relatively consistent in recent years, although a five-year low from February's exam had some concerned that the standards for passage may be too restrictive.
