Testimony by a chiropractor-turned-government-witness has resulted in a second Atlanta lawyer being indicted.

A grand jury Tuesday charged Atlanta lawyer John J. Sowa with 27 counts of mail fraud and four counts of money-laundering. The seven-page indictment accuses Sowa, whose law license was suspended last year by the Georgia Supreme Court, of keeping more than $130,000 in personal injury settlement funds he said he would forward to his clients’ chiropractor, F. Scott Culberson.
