Although Texas Supreme Court Justices Nathan Hecht and Al Gonzales drew last-minute primary challengers, those opponents will face Mount Everest-sized climbs as Hecht and Gonzales already have built campaign warchests and locked up the endorsements of the Republican leadership.
The third incumbent, Justice Priscilla Owen, is home free as no one filed to run against her.
