In a 24-hour span this week, two federal appeals courts gave opposing decisions on whether handicapped golf pros can use motorized carts during tournament play.
In the more publicized of the two cases, the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco on Monday ruled that golfer Casey Martin could use a cart while competing in the Professional Golfers Association Tour.
