The irony of the situation couldn’t have been more glaring. When law professor Cheryl L. Conner sought to put together a seminar on how lawyers can achieve balance in their personal and professional lives, the first eight lawyers she contacted had no time to help.

The lawyers told Conner, founder and co-coordinator of Lawyers With a Holistic Perspective, that they had not achieved balance in their own lives. But, Conner did eventually find lawyers who could speak on the subject at a seminar titled, “Working to Achieve Personal Balance as Lawyers” held Friday in Boston.
