Opting out – or possibly shut out – of the Clifford Chance Rogers & Wells mega-merger, the entire Paris office of Rogers & Wells is linking up with Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel.

It is not clear who is divorcing whom, but the 21-lawyer Paris group, led by Rogers & Wells’s corporate partner Alexander Marquardt, announced Wednesday that it is moving to Kramer Levin to form that firm’s first international office.
