The Georgia Supreme Court has disbarred an Atlanta lawyer who refused to give his client nearly $50,000 from an insurance settlement involving her daughter's death. Dennis J. Redic was accused of violating four bar rules, including fraud, deceit and commingling a client's funds with his own. An attorney who once shared offices with Redic says, "He was a talented lawyer and well-educated. I don't know what happened."
