Philadelphia lawyers quickly filed a class action lawsuit against Rite Aid Corp. following allegations by Florida’s attorney general that the Pennsylvania-based drugstore chain has been overcharging for some prescriptions.
The Center City firm of Donovan Miller filed the class action in Philadelphia Common Pleas Court on Friday, the day after newspaper stories reported that Rite Aid had been sued under Florida’s RICO Act.
