Now that he and his colleagues have won a ruling that says federal judges are entitled to annual cost-of-living increases, U.S. District Judge Lucius Bunton has a message for Congress.
“Show us the money, isn’t that the thing?” chuckles Bunton, a senior judge in Midland. “If this thing gets upheld, we’ll be sending them a little message: Show us the money. They don’t have any choice but to do it.”
