One year after the Second Circuit’s governing body asked its member courts to implement anti-bias recommendations and report back on their efforts, the reports are in, and varied.
The most active courts, the Southern and Western Districts of New York, have created ongoing anti-bias committees, and have taken initiatives to increase minority hiring and court appointments, and to improve bias complaint procedures.
