Only 10 of the Fortune 500's top lawyers are members of minority groups, according to a survey by the San Francisco-based Minority Corporation Counsel Association (MCAA). That's just 2 percent. In contrast, about 28 percent of the nation's 272 million people are black, Hispanic, Asian or other minorities. To most lawyers of color, the MCCA study's results are not surprising.
