SAN FRANCISCO � Robert B. Dellenbach, a 20-year veteran of Fenwick & West, moved to Reed Smith as a partner in the corporate securities group in San Francisco. Dellenbach advises start-ups and venture-backed companies on business plans, incorporation, financing, licensing, mergers and public offerings. He served as one of the early managing partner’s for Fenwick’s San Francisco office. Dellenbach has represented more than 100 software, communications, Internet, biotechnology and semiconductor firms from early stage “angel” and venture capital financing to strategic intellectual property issues. “Rob has long been a key player in the Silicon Valley and global venture community where he enjoys a great reputation and maintains a loyal base of clients,” said David Thompson, managing partner for Reed Smith’s San Francisco office. Dellenbach has also offered pro bono services for investment funds aiding emerging economies in Latin America and Africa and worked for the Climate Protection Campaign and Golden Gate Bridge Foundation. Reed Smith, one of the 15 largest law firms in the nation, has 350 corporate attorneys and 1,600 lawyers in 23 offices worldwide.
