SAN FRANCISCO David Campos has joined MEYERS, NAVE, RIBACK, SILVER & WILSON as of counsel. Campos previously served as general counsel for the San Francisco Unified School District. He graduated from Harvard Law School in 1996. GORDON-CREED, KELLEY, HOLL & SUGERMAN has added associates Samuel Trumbull and Cyrus Christenson. Trumbull, who was previously with Carlson, Calledine & Peterson, focuses on civil litigation, with an emphasis on complex commercial litigation and class actions. He received his J.D. from Boston University School of Law in 2002. Christenson, who previously served as in-house litigation counsel with Standard Insurance Co. in Portland, Ore., focuses on copyright and trademark litigation, premises liability, personal injury, contract claims and unfair business practices. He graduated from Northwestern School of Law of Lewis and Clark College in 2003. Walter Stella has joined BINGHAM MCCUTCHEN as a partner. Stella, who was previously with Shook, Hardy & Bacon, focuses on employment litigation and counseling. He is a 1990 graduate of Cornell Law School. Engin, who was previously with MORRISON & FOERSTER, is a member of the intellectual property, media and technology department. He graduated from University of Virginia School of Law in 2000. EAST BAY Demetrius Shelton has been elected vice president of the National Bar Association, an organization that represents more than 44,000 predominately African-American attorneys, judges, legal scholars and law students worldwide. Shelton, a deputy city attorney in Oakland, received his J.D. from UC-Davis’ King Hall School of Law in 1993. Geoffrey Robinson has been named managing partner of BINGHAM MCCUTCHEN’s Walnut Creek office. Robinson, who joined the office in 1986, is a member of the land use and development practice. He graduated from Hastings College of the Law in 1983. SACRAMENTO Morgan Jones has been elected a fellow of the American College of Mortgage Attorneys. Jones, a partner at MCDONOUGH HOLLAND & ALLEN, maintains a real estate finance practice that ranges from large, complex lending loan originations and workouts to volume lending programs. He received his J.D. from UCLA School of Law in 1981. SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA Gary Paul was elected treasurer of the American Association for Justice. Paul, a partner at WATERS & KRAUS in Los Angeles, has extensive trial experience in complex civil matters. He is a 1974 graduate of Loyola Law School. David Cunningham III has joined MEYERS, NAVE, RIBACK, SILVER & WILSON as a partner in the Los Angeles office. Cunningham, who was previously with Kelly Lytton & Vann, is a member of the eminent domain and redevelopment, real estate and housing practice groups. He received his J.D. from New York University School of Law in 1980. SHEPPARD, MULLIN, RICHTER & HAMPTON has added associates Christina Costley and Alexey Vorobiov to the Santa Barbara office. In addition, special counsel J. Daniel Ferrell has relocated to the Santa Barbara office from New York. Costley, who was previously with Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, is a member of the trial practice group. She graduated from Boalt Hall School of Law in 2003. Vorobiov, who also comes to the firm from Wilson Sonsini, is a member of the labor and employment practice group. He is a 2002 graduate of Boalt Hall.
