CADWALADER, WICKERSHAM & TAFT Two attorneys have joined Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft as special counsel. Jonathan Kanter, 33, joined the firm’s antitrust group, where he counsels clients in antitrust matters, with a specific focus on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and investigations by the Justice Department and the Federal Trade Commission. Kanter previously was an associate at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson, and he also worked in the Federal Trade Commission’s Bureau of Competition. He received his J.D. from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law. Anthony Nanni, 64, concentrates on federal antitrust and fraud investigations as well as prosecutions of both corporations and individuals. Before joining the firm’s antitrust group, Nanni was of counsel at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson. He also served as chief of the National Criminal Enforcement Section in the Justice Department’s Antitrust Division. Nanni received his J.D. from Fordham University School of Law.
STRADLEY RONON Alison Fuller, 43, has joined Stradley Ronon’s investment management and mutual funds practice as a partner. Prior to joining the firm, Fuller worked as assistant chief counsel in the Securities and Exchange Commission’s Division of Investment Management. She was also a corporate securities associate at Seward & Kissel. Fuller received her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center.
U.S. ATTORNEY’S OFFICE FOR THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA Eleven attorneys were appointed as assistant U.S. attorneys at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia. Allison Barlotta, 30, was assigned to the Appellate Division. Barlotta previously worked for Blank Rome, where she was an associate in the white-collar internal and government investigations practice. She received her J.D. from American University, Washington College of Law. Scott Burke, 27, was assigned to the Misdemeanor Trial Section. Burke previously worked as an associate at Jorden Burt, and he was also an attorney in the Juvenile Trial Section of the D.C. Office of the Attorney General. Burke earned his J.D. from Yale Law School. Crystal Evans, 35, was assigned to the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Unit. Evans worked as an attorney-advocate for the House of Ruth Domestic Violence Legal Clinic in Hyattsville, Md., before joining the law firm of Andalman & Flynn. Evans graduated from American University, Washington College of Law. Bridget Fitzpatrick, 32, was assigned to the Misdemeanor Trial Section. She previously was an associate for DLA Piper in the firm’s litigation and white collar defense practice. Fitzpatrick received her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center. Todd Gee, 29, was assigned to the Misdemeanor Trial Section. Prior to joining, Gee served as counsel and senior policy adviser to the U.S. House of Representatives Homeland Security Committee. He received his J.D. from Tulane Law School. Matthew Graves, 31, was assigned to the Misdemeanor Trial Section. He previously worked as an associate at WilmerHale in the firm’s securities and litigation groups. Graves received his J.D. from Yale Law School. Seth Meinero, 33, was assigned to the Felony Trial Section. Previously, Meinero served as a special assistant U.S. attorney in the Misdemeanor Trial Section. Prior to that, he served as a senior attorney-adviser in the Office of General Counsel at the Environmental Protection Agency. Meinero received his J.D. from Howard University School of Law. Courtney Gilligan-Saleski, 30, was assigned to the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Section. Gilligan-Saleski previously worked as an associate with Baker Botts. In addition, she clerked for the late Chief Justice William Rehnquist. She received her J.D. from George Washington University Law School. Andrea Sharrin, 41, was assigned to the Felony Trial Section. Sharrin previously served as special assistant U.S. attorney in the Trial Section, and served as director of civil litigation for the Recording Industry Association of America. Sharrin earned her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School. J. Thomas Spiggle, 37, serves in the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Unit. Before joining, Spiggle practiced with Tharrington Smith in Raleigh, N.C., where he focused on education and election law. Also, Spiggle practiced white-collar defense at Janis, Schuelke & Wechsler.
