Gregory C. Schick, an expert in executive pay, corporate governance and securities law joined Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton June 11 as partner in the firm’s tax, employee benefits and estates practice group in San Francisco. Schick left Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe. He regularly represents senior level executives and companies in employment and separation agreement matters. Schick has developed models to analyze golden parachutes, personal aircraft use and other executive compensation arrangements. He has also developed automated tools for complying with the Security and Exchange Commission’s executive compensation disclosure rules. He is a 1996 graduate of University of California, Hastings College of the Law where he received the Arthur Andersen Prize in taxation for outstanding scholarship. Sheppard Mullin is a 490-lawyer firm with 10 offices in California, New York, Washington, D.C., and Shanghai.
