Construction and real estate law litigator Scott E. Hennigh jumped ship at Thelen Reid Brown Rysman & Steiner to join the 490-lawyer Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton in San Francisco. Hennigh specializes in complex commercial litigation in both private real estate development projects and public works projects with government bodies. His practice consists primarily of California companies engaged in construction. “Scott brings significant trial experience to the firm’s well-regarded real estate practice, one of the largest in the state,” said Guy Halgren, firm chairman. The addition of Hennigh continues the firm’s expansion of its land use attorney base begun last month with the addition of a six-attorney team. The firm’s San Francisco office now stands at 83, the largest in its 25-year history. Sheppard Mullin has 10 offices in California, New York, Washington and Shanghai.
