If millionaire Atlanta entrepreneurs Stiles A. Kellett Jr. and Samuel B. Kellett want to protect their $10 million verdict against a Big Four accounting firm, they may have to do it without the services of former Georgia attorney general Michael J. Bowers and his firm, Balch & Bingham.
Citing the Kelletts’ nonpayment of legal fees, Bowers and a team of Balch lawyers on April 26 asked a judge to let them withdraw as counsel for the Kelletts, two of the brothers’ limited partnerships and the trustee for four Kellett family trusts that had sued the international accounting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers.
