Stanford Law School has added seven new members to its faculty. Jeffrey Fisher, a U.S. Supreme Court litigator who argued Blakely v. Washington, a case addressing the right to a jury trial with respect to sentencing guidelines, serves as an associate professor and co-director of the school�s Supreme Court Litigation Clinic. Julie Brodie has become director of the Community Law Clinic and associate professor of law. She comes from the University of Wisconsin School of Law. Jane Schacter, also from Wisconsin law school, teaches public law courses. Joining the international business law faculty as a professor is Alan Sykes, who previously was a faculty member at University of Chicago Law School. Joining the school’s interdisciplinary law faculty is Dan Ho, Josh Cohen and David Victor. Ho previously clerked for Stephen F. Williams, judge for the U.S. Court of Appeals, District of Columbia. Cohen was a member of the faculty at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Victor launched a sustainable energy program at Stanford University before joining the law school faculty.
