BAKER & HOSTETLER Baker & Hostetler has hired two employment and labor partners. Both were previously partners at DLA Piper Rudnick Gray Cary. Joseph Manson III, 55, graduated from Emory Law School. Douglas Hall, 41, graduated from Georgetown University Law Center. BAKER BOTTS Baker Botts has hired two new intellectual property attorneys. Both focus on patent litigation in technologies for the electronics, communications, and computer industries. David Schlitz, 52, partner, was previously a partner at Burns Doane. He graduated from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. Frederick Michaud, 62, special counsel, was previously in private practice. He graduated from George Washington University Law School. BINGHAM MCCUTCHEN Bingham McCutchen has hired two new partners in the firm’s broker-dealer and securities litigation groups and two new associates. All previously practiced at Pepper Hamilton. Stephen Crimmins, 56, partner, graduated from Columbia Law School. He was a partner at Pepper Hamilton. Ivan Knauer, 43, partner, graduated from New York University School of Law. Thomas Siebert, 58, joins as a partner in the technology, media, and telecommunications practice group. Previously, he was a partner at Patton Boggs and is a former U.S. ambassador to Sweden. He graduated from Georgetown University Law Center. Cecil Chung, 42, joins as a partner in antitrust and trade regulation counseling and litigation. Previously, he was an antitrust partner at Pillsbury Winthrop. He received his J.D. from Cornell Law School. Kenneth Minesinger, 39, joins as a partner in the firm’s energy practice group. Previously he was a partner at Morrison & Foerster. He graduated from George Washington University Law School. David Hildebrandt, 61, joins as a partner in the firm’s tax practice. Previously, he was a partner at White & Case. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin Law School. KATTEN MUCHIN ZAVIS ROSENMAN Katten Muchin Zavis Rosenman has elected 23 attorneys to partner, four of whom are in the D.C office. The firm has also hired a new partner. Brian Corcoran, 38, focuses on commercial and business litigation. He received his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law. Sylvia Davis, 38, focuses on intellectual property counseling and management, trademark prosecution and litigation, domain name disputes, and copyright infringement counseling. She received her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center. Lisa-Marie Monsanto, 39, in the corporate and aviation practices, concentrates on corporate finance transactions. She received her M.B.A. from Rutgers University and her J.D. from Columbia Law School. John Muir,�37, concentrates on commercial real estate transactions. He received his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School. David Sanders, 44, joins the firm as a partner in its customs and international trade practice group. His emphasis is on customs and border protection issues. Previously, he was a partner at Alston & Bird. He received his J.D. from the University of Denver College of Law. MANATT, PHELPS & PHILLIPS James Datri, 38, former executive director of the U.S. House Democratic Caucus, has joined Manatt, Phelps & Phillips as a partner in the government and regulatory division. Previously, he served for more than a decade as a senior congressional aide. He received his J.D. from Harvard Law School. MAYER, BROWN, ROWE & MAW Kenneth Weinstein, 58, has joined Mayer, Brown, Rowe & Maw as counsel in its litigation practice group. Previously he was associate administrator for Enforcement for the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. He graduated from Yale Law School. MILES & STOCKBRIDGE Jeffrey Poretz, 38, was elected to partner at Miles & Stockbridge. He is a member of the firm’s products liability, mass tort, and medical malpractice trial teams.
