By notice dated February 19, 2004, reports by eight Supreme Court rules committees were published for comment. By this notice reports from two additional Supreme Court rules committees are published for comment, as well as supplemental reports from two rules committees whose initial reports were included with that earlier notice. As with the previously published reports, the Supreme Court invites written comments on the two reports and two supplemental reports published with this notice. The two rules committees whose reports are here published for comment are as follows: Family Practice Committee Committee on Minority Concerns The two supplemental reports published here for comment are from the following rules committees: Civil Practice Committee Special Civil Part Practice Committee Not all of the appendices referenced in the reports have been included in this publication; copies of omitted appendices are available on request. The reports and supplemental reports are also available for downloading on the Judiciary’s Internet Web site at http://www.judiciary.state.nj.us/reports2004/index.htm. Note that we still anticipate receiving supplemental reports from two additional rules committees � the Criminal Practice Committee and the Municipal Court Practice Committee. Those supplemental reports will be published at a later date. Note also that the comment period on the 2002-04 rules committee reports has been extended through April 30, 2004 (from the original April 19 closing date). Thus, please send any comments on the Committees’ proposed rule amendments or other recommendations in writing by Friday, April 30, 2004 to: Richard J. Williams, J.A.D. Box 037 Trenton, New Jersey 08625-0037 Comments on the Committee reports and recommendations may also be submitted via Internet e-mail to the following address: Comments.Mailbox @judiciary.state.nj.us. The Supreme Court will not consider comments submitted anonymously. Thus, those submitting comments by mail should include their name and address (and those submitting comments by e-mail should include their name and e-mail address). However, comments submitted in response to this notice will be maintained in confidence if the author specifically requests confidentiality. In the absence of such a request, the author’s identity and his or her comments may be subject to public disclosure after the Court has acted on the Committee reports and supplemental reports. The Court will be acting on these reports and recommendations in June 2004, with any rule amendments likely to become effective September 1, 2004. Richard J. Williams, J.A.D.
