Pennsylvania governor Mark S. Schweiker has proclaimed the week of July 22-26 as Paralegal Week. He has proclaimed Pennsylvania Paralegal Day to be July 26.
It was due to the combined efforts of KeyLAA (Keystone Legal Assistants Association) and Keystone Alliance (the appointed representatives of the various Pennsylvania paralegal associations) and the persistence of a remarkable woman that paralegals in Pennsylvania have been given this recognition.
