Ropes & Gray has recruited an intellectual property partner to its Shanghai office.
Geoffrey Lin is joining the Boston-based firm from Hogan Lovells, where he was promoted to partner last year. He joined the Shanghai office of the former Lovells as an associate in 2005, having previously worked at Fenwick & West in Palo Alto, Calif., and Proskauer Rose in New York.
