Gossip website Gawker, with the aid of the ACLU-NJ, is suing Gov. Chris Christie over his refusal to make public alleged communications with Fox News Channel president Roger Ailes over a possible run for the presidency in 2012.
The suit, Gawker Entertainment LLC v. Chiesa, filed Monday in Mercer County Superior Court, challenges the governor’s exercise of executive privilege to deny access to any such records.
