Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker has bolstered its London corporate practice with the hiring of M&A partner Garrett Hayes from Macfarlanes. Hayes, who specializes in private company M&A and private equity, acting predominantly for private equity sponsors, joined the firm Thursday.
“Building out our London corporate practice is one of the main strategic priorities for the firm globally,” says Paul Hastings’ global corporate vice-chair Ronan O’Sullivan, who took over as head of the London office in April after incumbent Phil Feder returned to Los Angeles. “We see an opportunity to elevate our position in corporate across all the key international financial centers, and private equity is an area that we think will see a real re-emergence over the next few years.”
