Philadelphia is toward the lower end of the spectrum when it comes to average partner compensation in major U.S. cities, followed only by Chicago, Atlanta and Seattle, according to survey results published Monday by recruiting firm Major Lindsey & Africa.

Just over 100 partners from Philadelphia responded to the survey, showing a combined average compensation of $533,000. Chicago came in at $524,000, Atlanta at $463,000 and Seattle at $368,000 in annual partner pay.
