Adorno & Yoss co-founder Henry “Hank” Adorno, once one of South Florida’s most prominent attorneys, was suspended from practicing law Wednesday by the Florida Supreme Court and faces possible disbarment for his role in a $7 million class action settlement that benefited just seven people and his firm.

The unanimous ruling caps a spectacular fall for Adorno, who founded the nation’s largest minority-owned law firm. The Coral Gables-based firm, with more than 250 lawyers in 17 locations, ranks 147th by size in the United States, according to the National Law Journal, an affiliate of the Daily Business Review.
