The former chairman of Arnold & Porter, Michael Sohn, has joined Davis Polk & Wardwell’s Washington, D.C., office as counsel. At Arnold & Porter, Sohn was a partner.
Sohn joined Arnold & Porter in 1969 as an associate and made partner in 1972. He left the firm in 1977 to serve a three-year stint as general counsel of the Federal Trade Commission. Sohn served as chairman of Arnold & Porter from 1996 through 2006.
