Five partners are leaving DLA Piper's Vienna office, including the office's joint managing partners, Stefan Eder and Wieland Schmidt-Schmidsfelden. The team, including regulatory and litigation partner Ivo Deskovic, is expected to launch its own firm in the Austrian capital. The news comes after DLA Piper restructured its Central and Eastern European practice last year, handing more power to individual office heads. Prior to this, the nine-office CEE practice had been run by Deskovic from Vienna.
