A Proposition 8 proponent who penned some of the harsher anti-gay rhetoric of the California ballot campaign -- saying, for example, that gays are 12 times more likely than heterosexuals to molest children -- faced an onslaught of forceful questioning from David Boies on Thursday. Boies, who represents two same-sex couples in a federal challenge to Prop 8, tried to lash Dr. Hak-Shing William Tam to the official Yes on 8 campaign, an effort that a Cooper & Kirk attorney attempted to undo during a cross-examination of Tam.
