This incident may have occurred in November, but since The Am Law Daily hasn’t seen reports about it elsewhere and since a video documenting it surfaced on the Web just this week, we’re deeming it post-worthy.

The setting was a panel discussion at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in London focused in part on human rights issues related to the detention of terror suspects. The event took an unexpected turn when a Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton associate stood up and objected to the views of some of the panelists.
