Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner on Thursday agreed to testify at a congressional hearing about the federal bailout of American International Group Inc.
The hearing, now scheduled for Jan. 27, is looking in particular at how and why AIG paid 100 cents on the dollar to certain banks in credit default swaps.
