Legal aid may be their expertise, but financial aid is the calling of the day for attorneys at Fisher & Phillips, who are doing their bit to help co-workers affected by the floods in Georgia.

Lawyers from several of the firm’s 21 offices nationwide are lining up to donate to the Fisher & Phillips Foundation, a special fund that helps attorneys and staff recover from natural disasters by providing money for such things as living expenses and uninsured repairs. The foundation, formed after Hurricane Katrina hit in 2005, has been tapped twice before for help: once for lawyers hit by Katrina; a second time for Florida lawyers and staff hit by more recent hurricanes.
