Stroock & Stroock & Lavan expanded its energy and project finance practice Thursday with two partners from Dewey & LeBoeuf. Jeffrey W. Meyers will chair the practice, which has 25 lawyers nationally. He is joined by partner Jon R. Mostel.
Mostel said the two were attracted by Stroock’s “very strong complementary practices,” including project finance and derivatives. Most recently, the lawyers have counseled clients on wind and solar energy projects, oil and gas exploration, and merchant electric transmission projects.
