It's a big change, going from a partnership at a 250-lawyer firm to one at a litigation boutique where he became the seventh lawyer. Isenberg & Hewitt is run by the wife-and-husband team of Harriet C. Isenberg and Melvin L. Hewitt Jr. "Given the economy, Mel and Harriet's firm gives me the opportunity to have more flexibility with the kind of work I'm doing and what I can charge for it," said Kaplan.
