Attorney General Farooq Naik confirmed Monday that Pakistani President Asif Zardari signed an order under which 76 supreme and high courts judges will no longer hold their positions.

Naik said Zardari signed the order after the judgment by a 14-member bench of the Supreme Court last Friday that ruled unanimously the imposition of a state of emergency and promulgation of a Provisional Constitutional Order by then President Pervez Musharraf on Nov. 3, 2007 was unconstitutional.
