Results of an internal investigation at infoGroup Inc. revealed significant misuse of corporate funds at the data marketing company, most of which centered around deposed founder and CEO Vinod Gupta.

In a report released Friday, Aug. 22, a committee formed by the publicly held Omaha company concluded that Gupta spent millions of dollars in company money on private jets, real estate, a yacht, country club memberships and luxury cars. Under his watch, infoGroup, formerly infoUSA, also arranged lucrative consulting contracts for former President Bill Clinton, who remains on the company’s payroll.
