The new group -- dreamed up by Century City, Calif., associate Shawn Foust, who is an avid gamer -- involves 20 attorneys across all the Los Angeles-based firm's offices in practices such as intellectual property, entertainment and media, corporate and labor, and employment. Sheppard Mullin's clients in the video game industry include Activision Blizzard, Electronic Arts and the Game Show Network.
