Robert Schlossman is the new general counsel at Extreme Networks. He replaces Alicia Jayne Moore, who had held the position since 2004 at the computer networking equipment company. Schlossman inherits a company that for its size -- Extreme has a $370 million market cap -- has a fair share of legal challenges, from patent infringement cases to dealing with fallout from backdating. Extreme took a $223 million options-related charge last year, but Moore was lauded for cleaning up the problem.
