Ricciardi had been second-in-command at the SEC's enforcement group since 2005. At Paul Weiss, he will be part of the firm's securities litigation and white-collar crime practices.

The deputy director of the Securities and Exchange Commission’s enforcement division is joining Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison as a partner.
Walter G. Ricciardi had been second-in-command at the SEC’s enforcement group since 2005. In this capacity he oversaw the enforcement efforts of the SEC’s regional offices and handled many of the commission’s highest-profile investigations and proceedings.
