Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., in political contributions from lawyers and law firms. By the end of April, Obama had raised more than $17.3 million from lawyers and law firms. Clinton had raised more than $16.7 million. For much of the race, Clinton had maintained a significant lead in contributions from the legal industry.
