Montgomery, McCracken, Walker & Rhoads of Philadelphia has snapped up three New Jersey lawyers for a new branch outside Atlantic City and has its eye on starting offices in New Jersey cities Newark and Princeton as well. Chairman Stephen Madva says the addition of the trio and the opening of the new office are part of a plan the firm embarked on a few years ago: Grow regionally by adding offices "where the business is." Since then, it has opened offices in two Philadelphia suburbs.

The firm announced May 13 that Gerald Corcoran, Enid Hyberg and John Aleli, recently of Youngblood, Corcoran, Lafferty & Hyberg in Linwood, N.J., started on May 1 at Montgomery McCracken’s office in Cherry Hill, N.J. They will be based in Linwood.
